Fuelled by passion, dedication, and whole-hearted public service, Mrs. Virginia Enderez Tagab, is now the newly-installed school principal for Zamboanga del Norte National High School-Turno Campus. The event happened with Public Schools District Supervisors Vilma C. Velasco, Petrush G. Macute, Genevieve B. Miranda, and Rosssalyn Z. Montealto, School Principal Joselito S. Tizon, PTA President Peter M. Cuenca, ZNNHS department heads, teachers, staff, and parents present. This celebrated installation took place at the ZNNHS covered court yesterday, September 16.

Alongside the installation was the heartfelt yet meaningful send-off ceremony for the outgoing Assistant School Principal and Turno campus designated school head, Mrs. Maria Riza Lagroma, who will be the School Principal for Upper Dicayas Integrated School. Ma'am Lagroma expressed her iconic fifty-day leadership in Turno Campus as one filled with challenges and celebration of good camaraderie and friendship among all she encountered in the premier school. She bid farewell to ZNNHS and accepted the new responsibility to man UDIS given her broad experience as a former elementary school head in Zamboanga del Norte. ZNNHS teachers were also thankful for the short yet kind leadership of Mrs. Lagroma on Turno Campus.

The inspirational messages of PSDS Vilma C. Velasco and Petrush G. Macute have challenged Mrs. Tagab's leadership to make a pivotal move for ZNNHS Turno campus' plans and leadership decisions. They expressed the capabilities of Mrs. Tagab as fitting to the current goals of the division office.

Moreover, this dynamic move at the onset of giving independent identity to Turno campus was pushed through by School Principal Joselito S. Tizon, who saw the need to make timely and significant changes for ZNNHS. The growing student population of ZNNHS Turno, both junior and senior high schools, is challenging. With that said, an identified leadership in securing the students' needs and the teachers' welfare in Turno Campus is a must.

ZNNHS welcomes back Mrs. Virginia E. Tagab. She is a former high school teacher in Filipino, then eventually promoted to head teacher in Filipino Department. Later, she became the school head of ZNNHS- Miputak Extension, now the Miputak National High School. She transitioned the school to be independent during her term. Her heart for ZNNHS is what makes the present challenge more like a calling back "home."
