The development of teachers’ potentials aimed toward success in their profession remains Deped’s indubitable commitment. Hence, the In-Service Training for Teachers is scheduled during a midterm break in support of teachers continuing professional development to better perform their duties.
To keep abreast of the educational demands, trends, and challenges in the educational system of the country, Zamboanga del Norte National High School is compliant with the order of holding the annual INSET. The school enjoined all teachers and employees to shift into intensive talks and discussions that holistically influence them towards effectiveness and efficiency of work performance. Moreover, the school conducted team-building activities that elevated the spirit of teamwork and collaboration put up by group motivation, initiatives, and skills among teams of teachers and personnel combined.
The school planned and organized the programs for the INSET. Relevant discussions for professional development including preparations for the lesson exemplars were tackled during the two-day forum at Leona’s Place. Team-building activities were facilitated and exhibited at the Royal Farm and the division’s programs for teachers and employees were held and staged at Olingan Sports Complex. This was a five-day activity considered a breather from the usual academic routines aimed at enhancing and recognizing educators’ capabilities.
